“…5 U n c o r r e c t e d P r o o f results were in line with those of Naini et al (12,13), as they reported the average nasolabial angle was the most attractive one, and the level of attractiveness decreased as the angle increased. The current study results were also in agreement with those of McArdle et al (14); they found that the least attractive nose shapes were the ones with an increased nose projection. The current study results were also consistent with those of Valentine et al (15), as they reported attractive nose shapes were the ones with average dimensions.…”

This added information may aid surgeons in providing more individualized and specific surgical options in the consultation process and beyond to patients based on their demographic.…”

“…Ethnicity and culture are significant factors to consider in rhinoplasty planning, as standardized definitions of beauty may not align with non-Caucasian patients’ goals. 9 Sinno et al described significant variations in NLA preferences among certain ethnic groups. 8 Their group found ethnic groups with more prognathic features, such as West African and Brazilian Black populations, preferred more acute NLAs.…”

“…Some supratip break is the aesthetically pleasing configuration for nasal tip, but excessive supratip depression can be considered undesir-able. 7 When using an implant, the caudal end of the implant can fill the volume of the supratip depression, reducing the difficulty in creating a smooth nose line. However, even in this case, it is necessary to fill the empty space between the implant and the upper lateral cartilage with cartilage or soft tissue.…”
