This research aimed to determine the potential of the unconfined aquifer in Gorontalo City based on the landform approach. The landforms in Gorontalo City consist of alluvial plains of lake deposits, floodplains of river deposits, alluvial fans of lake deposits, hills of structural fractures of reef limestones, hills of structural fractures of pinogu volcanic rocks, and hills of intrusive bone diorite. The method used consisted of a meteorological approach in the southern hills of Gorontalo City and a dynamic approach on the plains of Gorontalo City. The calculation of groundwater availability using a meteorological approach is 421.561,67 m3/year in the structural limestone reef fractures hill, 1.198.975,33 m3/year in the structural pinogu volcanic fractures hill, and 373.062,86 m3/year in the intrusive bone diorite hill, with a total of groundwater availability using the meteorological approach, is 1.993.599,87 m3/year. Groundwater availability using a dynamic approach was 2.621.535,19 m3/year or a discharge of 49,26 lt/sec (large) in the alluvial plain of lake sediment, discharge of 17,19 lt/sec (large) in the floodplain of river sediment, and discharge of 16,65 lt/sec (large) in the alluvial fan of lake sediment. The potential value of groundwater using the dynamic method is greater than the meteorological approach because of the amount of evapotranspiration, surface runoff, and crop coefficient.

Irigasi bawah permukaan otomatis nirdaya yang dijadikan objek dalam penelitian ini ditujukan untuk memberikan air langsung ke zona perakaran dan akan berhenti bila sudah mencukupi dengan menggunakan katup level air. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja model irigasi ini pada 3 jenis sayuran, yaitu kangkung, Caisim, dan bayam dengan indikator produktivitas lahan, produktivitas air dan koefisien tanaman. Jaringan irigasi berupa rangkaian pot tanaman sejumlah 12 buah, masing-masing berukuran 33 cm diameter atas, 23.5 cm diameter bawah, dan tinggi 31 cm. Satu pot berukuran sama dijadikan pengendali level air. Air irigasi otomatis mengalir bila terjadi penurunan level air di setiap pot tanaman. Level air yang dipertahankan adalah 10 cm di bawah permukaan tanah. Diperoleh hasil, produktivitas lahan Caisim 9.6 kg m-2, bayam 12.3 kg m-2 dan kangkung 25.1 kg m-2. Produktivitas air Caisim 29.0 kg m-3, bayam 12.3 kg m-3, dan kangkung 52.4 kg m-3. Koefisien tanaman untuk Caisim berkisar 0.12–1.71, bayam 0.12–0.94, dan kangkung 0.16–1.46. Dapat disimpulkan, model irigasi bawah permukaan otomatis nirdaya ini sangat efektif dan efisien serta mudah dalam pemeliharaan dan pengoperasiannya.

This research is motivated by development and population growth continues to increase from day to day. The impact of population growth is the increase in residential land. The increase in residential land is sometimes not accompanied by the provision of clean water by PDAM, so that people use dug wells or drilled wells. In the Kolaka area, especially the Kolaka District area, which is the research location, it is also a location that is difficult to find fresh water, so the geoelectric method plays a very important role in efforts to determine which locations contain fresh water. This research uses resistivity geoelectric method with Wenner and Schlumberger configuration. Processing data using Res2Dinv to map 2D isoresistivity. The well depth data was processed using Microsoft Excel, Surfer 10.2 application and ArcGIS to create a groundwater network map. The measurement trajectory uses a space of 7 meters, 20 meters and 40 meters. The results of the study obtained different resistivity values for each rock. The resistivity variation obtained starts from 0.453 – 13,988 m. Groundwater resistivity values are in the range of resistivity values of 0.453 – 33.3 m. The lithology of the aquifers in the study area is alluvial and sandstone. In the research location, groundwater is generally found at a depth of more than 5 meters
