Predictors of Mortality in Patients with Emphysema and Severe Airflow Obstruction

Abstract: Although patients with advanced emphysema experience significant mortality, subgroups based on age, oxygen utilization, physiologic measures, exercise capacity, and emphysema distribution identify those at increased risk of death.
