Predictors of maximal postoperative pain at rest in adult patients undergoing elective surgery – A multicenter observational study

Abstract: The aim of this prospective cohort study was to assess the maximum intensity of postoperative pain at rest in 620 adults after an elective surgery as well as to determine demographic and clinical predictors of pain. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale was used to evaluate the preoperative mental condition of the patient.
