Abstract: Objective: Perinatal asphyxia with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy associated with seizures is one of the leading cause of neonatal mortality and morbidity in Bangladesh. Phenobarbitone remains the drug of choice in treatment of neonatal seizures.
