Abstract: The present study evaluated the predictive value of the combination of the lung injury prediction score (LIPS) and receptor for advanced glycation end-products (RAGE) for the occurrence of acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) in critically ill patients with ARDS risk factors.
