Abstract:Lymphoma is a diverse group of blood cancers originating in the lymphatic system, with varying clinical presentations and prognoses. Identifying and utilizing predictive biomarkers in lymphoma can significantly impact the management and outcome of patients. For instance, the presence of the BCL2 gene rearrangement in follicular lymphoma is associated with a poorer prognosis, while the expression of the CD20 protein in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma is a predictor of response to rituximab. These biomarkers are m… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
