Prediction of the Non-Linear Rupture of a Section Under Compound Deviated Bending

Abstract: Under stresses close to the ultimate stresses, a reinforced concrete section yields and cracks. The calculation in linear elasticity no longer makes it possible to evaluate the real deformations of the section. One is then led to make a study in nonlinear elasticity.
