Prediction of Discharge Destination following Laryngectomy

Abstract: Patients with advanced age, functional dependence, cardiac failure, and steroid dependence may benefit from preemptive counseling and discharge planning in anticipation of postlaryngectomy discharge to intermediate-care facilities.
