Prediction of Coronary Artery Disease using Artificial Intelligence – A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract: Purpose: Coronary heart disease and the risk of having a heart attack have both risen in recent years. Angioplasty, lifestyle changes, stent implantation, and medications are only some of the methods used to diagnose and treat various diseases. In this study, we will gather and analyze a variety of health indicators in order to identify heart-related illnesses via Machine Learning and Deep Learning prediction models. The best way to improve treatment and mortality prevention is to identify the relevant critica… Show more

“…As a result of a detailed examination of the studies in the literature, the following inferences were made regarding both the machine learning approaches used and the heart disease problem addressed (Yuan et al ., 2016; Jahmunah et al ., 2019; Ivanovic et al ., 2019; Hong et al ., 2020; Bharti et al ., 2021; Chakraborty and Biswas, 2022; Ramanathan and Jagadeesha, 2023):Most of the studies on heart disease diagnosis use open-source and popular datasets. Most of the datasets used are outdated and collected long ago.The machine learning methods used are black boxes. The use of machine learning tools for medical professionals in real life is a major challenge.…”
