Predicting tumor recurrence using metabolic indices of 18F‑FDG PET/CT prior to orthotopic liver transplantationfor hepatocellular carcinoma

Abstract: The present study analyzed the ability of metabolic burden indices from 18 F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18 F-FDG) positron emission tomography/computed tomography (PET/CT) to predict tumor recurrence following orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
