In a Public Private Partnership project, the government and private sector participate in the projects and share the risks. Therefore, the selection of private sector has an important role in increasing the sustainability of tollroad projects. This study aims to determine the criteria that need to be considered in selecting private sector based on sustainability aspects. The criteria are identified through a literature study. The Likert scale is used to measure the level of respondents' agreement on a variable. The Relative Important Index (RII) value and standard deviation are used to show the value of the level of importance and rating of each criterion. The research respondents came from experts from the Indonesia Toll Road Authority. The analysis show that the criteria for ability to manage risk, ability to manage operations, provision of environmental improvement programs, financial planning, and human resources are the main criteria that need to be considered in selecting a private partner.Kata kunci: pemilihan badan usaha, relative important index (RII), kriteria badan usaha Abstrak Dalam proyek Kerjasama Pemerintah Dengan Badan Usaha, pemerintah dan badan usaha berpartisipasi dalam proyek dan berbagi risiko. Oleh karena itu pemilihan badan usaha memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan keberlanjutan proyek KPBU jalan tol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kriteria yang perlu diperhatikan dalam memilih badan usaha berdasarkan aspek keberlanjutan. Kriteria diidentifikasi melalui studi literatur. Skala likert digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat persetujuan responden terhadap suatu variabel. Nilai Relative Important Index (RII) dan standar deviasi digunakan untuk menunjukkan nilai tingkat kepentingan dan peringkat masing masing kriteria. Responden penelitian berasal dari tenaga ahli Badan Pengatur Jalan Tol. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kriteria kemampuan mengelola risiko, kemampuan mengelola operasional, penyediaan program perbaikan lingkungan, perencanaan finansial, dan sumber daya manusia sebagai kriteria utama yang perlu diperhatikan dalam memilih badan usaha.
