Predicting the Heat Release Rate of the Storage Tank Pool Fires Using the Liquid Vaporization Model

Abstract: This study is a preliminary research to specify fire scenarios in storage tanks and evaluate the fire size based on the type of fuel and diameter of the storage tank by applying the liquid evaporation model of FDS . FDS version 6.7.6 was used in the analysis, and the computational domains were established based on the pool diameter with the same proportion.
