Predicting the functional states of human iPSC-derived neurons with single-cell RNA-seq and electrophysiology

Abstract: Human neural progenitors derived from pluripotent stem cells develop into electrophysiologically active neurons at heterogeneous rates, which can confound disease-relevant discoveries in neurology and psychiatry.
