Predicting post‐total ankle arthroplasty walking speed based on preoperative gait mechanics

Abstract: Decreased walking speed is associated with impaired physical performance and function in older adults. Following total ankle arthroplasty (TAA), walking speed continues to be slower than age matched controls.
