Abstract: Predicting long-term sickness absence among retail workers after four days of sick-listing by Roelen CAM, Speklé M, Lissenberg-Witte BI, Heymans MW, van Rhenen W, Schaafsma FG A brief online tool applied on the fourth day after reporting sick adequately predicts long-term sickness absence. Sick-listed workers with a predicted risk of 36% or more should be invited to expedited consultations to explore and solve barriers of return to work.
