Abstract: Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) with nucleophosmin (NPM1) genetic mutations is the most common subtype in adult patients. Refractory or relapsed disease in unfit patients or after allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) has a poor prognosis.
