“…The second method for scoring Rc was based off the protocol of Rysbekova et al (2017) and used 2 sets of primer pairs: Rc_wtF1 with Rc_wtR1, and Rc_delF3 with Rc_delR3 (Supplementary Table S2). Thermocycler conditions for both reactions were as follows: denaturation at 94 °C for 2 min followed by 40 cycles of denaturation at 94 °C for 30 s, annealing at 54 °C for 30 s, and elongation at 72 °C for 30 s.
