Abstract: Background: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is a promising strategy to break the chain of transmission of novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV). Aims: This trial aimed to evaluate the safety and efficacy of PrEP with various doses of HCQ against a placebo among high-risk healthcare providers (HCPs).
