Abstract: This report presents the results of dielectric studies in a nitrobenzene–decane critical mixture in the homogeneous liquid, biphasic mesophase, and the solid crystal phase. It focuses on detecting critical effects in the broad surrounding of the critical consolute temperature and pre-melting and post-freezing effects in the solid crystal phase.
