Pre-Competitive Period in Olympic Wrestling Athletes: Losing Weight, a Risk Factor

Abstract: The competition is the time where all training is put to the test; however, the precompetition period is common to see athletes performing severe hypo caloric diets, dehydration techniques and even use of diuretic substances and even laxatives.
