Pragmatics of terminological nomination: tourism management

Abstract: The present article deals with the problem of terminological nomination in the tourism sphere through the prism of translation. The material of the study is represented by texts of tourism discourse in German, Russian and Slovak languages. The study of frequently used strategies of translating terminological units of tourism management sphere allowed revealing the absence of equivalent terms. The authors also proved the importance of terms' cultural load and national markedness.
