Pragmatic tactics in traffic trials

Abstract: This study aims at finding out the pragmatic tactics employed in the contexts of traffic trials as used by the judge and the defendants and the purposes to which they serve. Based on the data analysis, it is found that there are six pragmatic tactics in contexts of the traffic trials interaction which are felicitousness, effectiveness, maximum efficiency, appropriateness, avoidance of imposition, and maximal options for deniability.
