Practice implications of an antimicrobial stewardship intervention in a tertiary care teaching hospital, Qatar

Abstract: Background: Antibiotic misuse is a worldwide public health problem and has been associated with increased morbidity, length of hospital stay, mortality, healthcare costs, and most importantly antibiotic resistance.
