This study presents an extensive bibliometric review of research publications on tax evasion using the Scopus database. Data analysis was conducted using Microsoft Excel, Open Refine, Harzing's Publish or Perish, and VOSviewer. Since 1998, there has been a continuous growth in the number of research papers published on tax evasion. The United States emerged as the most productive country in terms of published tax evasion studies. Specifically, Florida International University ranked first as the most active institution in publishing important articles related to tax evasion research. The Journal of Public Economics stands out as the most renowned journal in this field. However, it should be noted that this research relies on the Scopus database, which may have certain limitations that can influence the results. Moreover, this study acknowledges the crucial role of education in comprehending and combating tax evasion. It highlights the significance of educational institutions, such as Florida International University, in generating valuable research on tax evasion. By promoting education and raising awareness about the intricate nature of tax evasion, scholars and practitioners can make well‐informed decisions and formulate effective strategies to mitigate its adverse effects. To the best of the researcher's knowledge, this study represents the first extensive bibliometric analysis that offers a comprehensive overview of tax evasion research while recognising education's vital role in tackling this issue. Context and implicationsRationale for this studyA bibliometric study on tax evasion provides valuable insights into the existing literature, research trends and knowledge gaps, which can inform educational interventions and the development of effective strategies to promote tax compliance. It helps identify best practices and evidence‐based approaches to enhance tax education and assess the impact of education on tax compliance.Why do the new findings matter?The findings of a tax evasion bibliometric study are crucial for education as they inform and enhance educational initiatives. They provide insights into the existing research landscape, allowing educators to tailor their approaches and incorporate best practices. Ultimately, integrating the findings of a tax evasion bibliometric study into education enhances the effectiveness of educational efforts in reducing tax evasion.Implications for researchers and practitionersTax evasion bibliometric study has significant implications for researchers and practitioners in education. Medical education is vital in producing competent healthcare professionals and advancing medical knowledge. The integration of e‐learning has emerged as a transformative approach to enhance medical education by improving accessibility, cost‐effectiveness and interactive learning experiences. With the COVID‐19 pandemic further accelerating e‐learning adoption, analysing the trends, publication collaborations and publication patterns in this domain is crucial. This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of published documents on the Scopus database in e‐learning in medical education to explore the trends in scientific productivity. Publications in the domain has sporadically increased since the onset of the COVID‐19 pandemic. The pandemic introduces a changing focus in research and emerging trends, with COVID‐19 becoming a dominant topic and emerging theme. A collaborative research environment exists between authors; however, there is a divide between developed and developing countries in publication distribution, emphasising the need for equitable participation. This study contributes to a comprehensive understanding of e‐learning in medical education, emphasising collaboration, publication patterns, emerging trends, and the impact of the COVID‐19 pandemic. Researchers can leverage these findings to advance e‐learning in medical education and enhance the quality of medical training and education. Context and implications Rationale for this study The COVID‐19 pandemic reshaped medical education, emphasising e‐learning's potential for teaching and learning continuity during lockdowns. Bibliometric analysis is needed to examine trends in e‐learning within medical education. Why the new findings matter The landscape of publications in e‐learning in medical education has changed; the bibliometric analysis of trends in the domain reveals key themes, pandemic response, challenges and opportunities to inform future research in the domain. Implications for educational researchers and policy makers Funders and institutions need to encourage collaboration between developed and developing countries to bridge the publication disparities in the domain. Developed countries can share resources, while developing countries bring fresh perspectives in their context. It is important for educators and researcher in medical education to report the implementation of e‐learning with specific details on the critical success factor of e‐learning in their context. This can provide a baseline for others to understand how to optimise the implementation of e‐learning to make it more suitable in their context.

A Thermo-Catalytic Pyrolysis of Polystyrene Waste Review: A Systematic, Statistical, and Bibliometric Approach

Global polystyrene (PS) production has been influenced by the lightness and heat resistance this material offers in different applications, such as construction and packaging. However, population growth and the lack of PS recycling lead to a large waste generation, affecting the environment. Pyrolysis has been recognized as an effective recycling method, converting PS waste into valuable products in the chemical industry. The present work addresses a systematic, bibliometric, and statistical analysis of results carried out from 2015 to 2022, making an extensive critique of the most influential operation parameters in the thermo-catalytic pyrolysis of PS and its waste. The systematic study showed that the conversion of PS into a liquid with high aromatic content (84.75% of styrene) can be achieved by pyrolysis. Discussion of PS as fuel is described compared to commercial fuels. In addition, PS favors the production of liquid fuel when subjected to co-pyrolysis with biomass, improving its properties such as viscosity and energy content. A statistical analysis of the data compilation was also discussed, evaluating the influence of temperature, reactor design, and catalysts on product yield.
