The necessity of implementing the Sustainable Development Goals and solve the problem of climate change, technological progress and the conscious climate policy of many countries has led to the transformation of the world economy and power industry towards low-carbon development, which should be based on renewable energy sources. Oil and gas companies are actively criticized by the international community for contributing significantly to total anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions, with emissions from hydrocarbon fuel combustion being the largest. In order to meet the tightening environmental requirements and regulations, oil and gas companies implement various initiatives for decarbonization and reducing the carbon footprint, including operating with renewables, whose scale, essence and variety depend on the decarbonization model. This paper attempts to identify, first, how renewable sources of energy have been integrated into the oil and gas companies; second, what decarbonization models are possible; and third, what the major determining factors in the formation of their decarbonization model and the scale of renewable usage are. Based on an extensive literature review, survey, websites and corporate sustainability reports of Russian and foreign oil and gas companies, models of decarbonization and the role of renewables in decarbonization are defined and the classification and interpretation of determining factors are offered, justifying their impact on the decarbonization model and the scale of renewable usage. The authors present an assessment of factors and prove the correlation between the factors under consideration and the scale and diversity of renewable usage by oil and gas companies, confirming the adequacy of the offered approaches.

Tilted photovoltaic panel (PVP) are extensively utilized in solar power installations. To model and design them, you must understand the solar irradiation on a tilted surface over time scales of an hour, day, week, month, or other period. However, most meteorological stations only record global horizontal irradiance (GHI). In this research, a method is proposed for translating hourly worldwide horizontal irradiation from the NASA POWER database into hourly global sun irradiation on a tilted surface utilizing regression analysis methods and numerical modeling methods based on an isotropic model of solar irradiation. In addition, this work proposes a method for establishing the regression reliance of the diffuse transmittance index on the clearness index for geographic areas where this relationship has not yet been empirically proven. To assess effectiveness, the results of the proposed technique and other authors' methods are compared with monthly average NASA POWER climatological data using evaluation methods such as mean bias error (MBE), mean absolute bias error (MABE), and root-mean-square error (RMSE). The study's findings can be used to construct, optimize, or anticipate the functioning of solar power facilities at any angle of tilt and in any geographic area.

Iron role is very essential in the up-to-date economics. Magnetite quartzites are the main source of iron making in Russia. Oxidized ferriferous quartzites are also used for accumulation of the Russian mineral and raw material base. Substantial composition and concentration capacity of the represented sample of oxidized iron ore are examined. Ore sample was ground during two stages in a ball mill and IsaMill mill. Comminuted material was classified in magnetic hydrocyclone of original construction. Magnetic system, which was mounted on the hydrocyclone, had been designed using computer software ANSYS Maxwell for simulation of electromagnetic fields and had been manufactured with use of permanent magnets made of Nd-Fe-B alloys on the base of rare earth elements. Classifying products in magnetic hydrocyclone were concentrated consequently in low-and high-intensive magnetic fields. Technological scheme for concentration of oxidized ferriferous quartzites was developed. This scheme allows to produce high-quality magnetite concentrate, hematite concentrate and mixed hematite -magnetite concentrate.
