Power quality improvement using bridgeless‐Landsman converter for LED driver

Abstract: This study presents a bridgeless-Landsman converter for power factor correction (PFC) of light-emitting diode (LED) driver. It is targeted for high brightness LED driver with pulse-width modulation dimming for brightness control. This PFC converter is used to feed dual output flyback DC-DC converter which supplies power to the LED module and forced cooling unit with galvanic isolation.
