Abstract:Nano-scale nuclear magnetic resonance with NV centres heralds a paradigm shift in biosensing, but its success has been so far prevented by diffusion broadening of spectral features, which hinders the ability to resolve frequencies in spectral measurements. The problem is a direct consequence of the widely accepted assumption that nuclear spin signal correlations decay exponentially in nano-NMR. However, a more accurate analysis of diffusion shows that correlations survive for a longer time due to a power-law s… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
