Power distribution system for Xiangshan Internet of Underwater Things

Abstract

The Xiangshan Internet of Underwater Things was successfully deployed in Xiangshan in September 2022, which is the first multi-node constant current cabled observatory network in China. Instead of being a real scientific IOT, the main motivation of this network is to verify the main energy conversion technologies applied in the Internet of Underwater Things, including multi-module-stack architecture electrical energy conversion system, digital branch unit, and fast deployable in-cable submarine observation node. The experiments verified that the system can guarantee the reliability and high efficiency of the Internet of Underwater Things.
