Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the distortion outage minimization problem for a wireless sensor network (WSN) in the presence of an eavesdropper. The observation signals transmitted from the sensors to the fusion center (FC) are overheard by the eavesdropper. Both the FC and the eavesdropper reconstruct minimum mean squared error (MMSE) estimates of the physical quantity observed. We address the problem of transmit power allocation to minimize the distortion outage at the FC, subject to a long-term transmit pow… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
