Abstract

Previous surgery induces pathologic changes that confuse and complicate the appearances in IBD. Close attention to the clinical, endoscopic, and pathologic features, in what are often complex clinicopathologic situations, is needed for the accurate interpretation of the information available and to reach the correct clinicopathologic diagnosis.
