This paper presents the results of a qualitative research based on the paper and pencil method with the aim to identify the social network users' opinions about the opportunities to develop a revolutionary technology which integrates Augmented Reality (AR) with social networks in order to create a meeting platform that might be used by stakeholders, such as social media users, producers and consumers in order to experience new opportunities of gaining relevant information. The research was conducted among 52 potential users and the results reveal that AR can potentiate the using of social networks; from the marketing point of view both consumers and products suppliers can record significant benefits on their market experience. Thus, AR Media platform development can also have positive implications for the education system.

Lisaks võimaldab liitreaalsuse kasutamine tootmisettevõtetes paremini rakendada töötajate individuaalset väljaõpet (Sorko & Brunnhofer, 2019), millega omakorda väheneb kolleegide või mentori ajakulu standardtegevuste õpetamisel uue töötaja väljakoolitamisel. A narrative of virtual and augmented reality in the forest sector

With the rapid development in data acquisition and presentation, there is a growing interest in virtual forests and computer visualization tools. Forest owners have become more aware about their property and are interested in applying different forest management methods and silvicultural techniques. The tools are also applicable in assessment of the changes to the landscape as a result of natural and anthropogenic disturbances. Virtual reality offers a good opportunity to test and compare different management options before implementing decisions which can lead to irreversible consequences. Advances in spatial and temporal data collection enable new and practical solutions for analysis and visualization of long-term natural processes with new forestry applications. In the near future, forest owners and managers will have the possibility to make management decisions without the direct need to exit the office. Furthermore, the learning process is more enthralling and also more profound through augmented reality, helping to foster better working practices even before starting a job in the forest sector.

The purpose of this study was to increase students’ understanding of the food security concept. The experimental method was being applied in this research. Moreover, research subjects were divided into two groups, one as an experimental group and another as a control group. The subjects of this study were 100 students at the Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Fifty students are guided under Augmented Reality based blended learning system as the experimental group. Another class of 50 students is on the control group, which studies with the conventional blended learning approach. The experimental class obtained 73% of the N-gain result, while control class obtained 50%. Therefore, it can be concluded that using augmented reality can improve the students’ understanding of the food security concept.
