Potentials and Presence of Goat Breeding and Products in Turkey

Abstract: The aim of this study was to give general information about the products status, breeding systems and to propose recommendation to improve the potentials about goat breeding in Turkey. For these purposes, FAO agricultural statistics is presented by evaluating data obtained. Turkey has significant potential in terms of small ruminant breeding, the number of animals and the production value.
