Abstract:World population is in a demographic transition, with an increase in number of older adults and prevalence of diseases related to aging. This study evaluated in vitro the potential of an ultrasound-assisted extract from Durvillaea incurvata to inhibit key enzymes associated with development of age-related diseases.
