Abstract:A series of dithiocarbamates of ω-substituted (2-naphthyloxy) alkanes (4-48) was tested for antioxidant activity by radicals 2,2-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assay, DPPH assay (1,1-diphenyl-2-picryl-hydrazyl), O2. (NET) assay and ROO. (TRAP) assay against curcumin and vitamin C as standard drugs.
