ABSTRAK Acinetobacter baumannii merupakan patogen utama penyebab infeksi nosokomial dengan prevalensi yang terus meningkat. Bakteri ini menjadi patogen oportunistik penyebab infeksi pada pasien imunosupresif yang menjalani perawatan jangka panjang di rumah sakit. Pasien rawat inap menjadi salah satu faktor risiko infeksi Acinetobacter baumannii. Peningkatan kasus infeksi Acinetobacter baumannii diikuti juga oleh peningkatan kejadian resistensi yang berdampak pada kegagalan terapi dan jumlah kematian tinggi. Oleh karena itu, data terbaru mengenai pola kepekaan bakteri terhadap antibiotik diperlukan untuk pembaharuan pertimbangan pilihan antibiotik sebagai terapi infeksi Acinetobacter baumannii kepada pasien rawat inap di RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Denpasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sensitifitas Acinetobacter baumannii terhadap beberapa golongan antibiotik pada pasien rawat inap di RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian potong lintang dengan metode deskriptif retrospektif. Sampel penelitian diambil menggunakan metode total sampling berupa data sekunder hasil uji kepekaan Acinetobacter baumannii yang diisolasi dari spesimen klinis pasien terhadap beberapa antibiotik di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi Klinik RSUP Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Denpasar periode Januari – Desember 2021. Identifikasi bakteri dan uji sensitivitas antibiotik dilakukan menggunakan alat VITEK 2. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan SPSS dan disajikan dalam bentuk distribusi frekuensi. Prevalensi infeksi Acinetobacter baumannii pada pasien rawat inap sebesar 7.1% dengan dominasi pasien dari ruang non – ICU. Isolat Acinetobacter baumannii terbanyak berasal dari sputum selang (30.5%) dan darah (20.2%). Dari data uji kepekaan terhadap 19 jenis antibiotik didapatkan Acinetobacter baumannii paling paling sensitif terhadap amikacin, trimethroprim/sulfamethoxazole, dan ampicillin/sulbactam dan paling resisten terhadap ceftriaxone, cefoperazone dan cefixime. Isolat Acinetobacter baumannii paling banyak berasal dari pasien rawat inap di ruang non – ICU dan berasal dari spesimen klinis sputum selang dengan antibiotik yang paling sensitif adalah amikacin dan paling resisten adalah ceftriaxone. Hospitals are not only as a place of treatment, but also as a health service facility that can be a source of infection for other people. Doctors, nurses and other medical personnel are often exposed to potential hazards in hospitals, thus requiring protection in the form of personal protective equipment (PPE). However, compliance with the use of PPE is not always high, which makes doctors and nurses more vulnerable to risk of occupational diseases in hospitals. In one of conducted studies, the conditions that were less compliant in using PPE for health workers were 30%. One of the things that might affect this level of compliance is knowledge about PPE. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and compliance level to use personal protective equipment among doctors and nurses in operating room installation from a private hospital in 2020. Analytic observational by using cross sectional research design was used in this study. The population were all doctors and nurses at operating room installation of mentioned hospital above. Sampling was taken by total sampling method and 26 samples met the inclusion criteria. In this study, there were 23 respondents (88.5%) obeyed the use of personal protective equipment, meanwhile 3 respondents (11.5%) who did not. The 3 respondents were on loop or circular nurses. So, there was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge and compliance in the use of personal protective equipment with p-value = 0.027and OR=44. Carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) is a gram-negative bacillus that commonly causes nosocomial infection found in Indonesia. CRAB infection caused by Acinetobacter baumannii that is resistant to Carbapenem. Resistance occurred because bacteria that cause infections easily treated with antibiotics become difficult to treat due to the uncontrolled use of antibiotics. A. baumannii has been resistant against the carbapenem class of antibiotics; and therefore, antibiotics are required to be obtained from natural ingredients with optimal working power, such as from the marine sponges of Axinella sp. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activities of bacteria associated with marine sponges of Axinella sp. against CRAB. Bacteria associated with Axinella sp. were isolated by differential dilution and cultures on Zobell 2216E media. An antibacterial activity test was performed using the overlay method. The antibacterial activity test was carried out to determine the presence of inhibition zones. The test results showed the bacteria associated with a marine sponge of Axinella sp strain 3 KD had antibacterial activity against CRAB growth with the formation of an inhibition zone of 16 mm. The results of the catalase test and oxidase test depicted that the isolates belong to the family of Staphylococcaceae. Isolates bacteria associated with a marine sponge of Axinella sp. were potential antibacterial agents against CRAB growth.
