“…This concept is consistent with the anti-inflammatory benefits of homeopathy and other CAM modalities. It is also supported by the observed worsening of symptoms in Alzheimer's disease patients [29], and yet a slowing of tumor growth in cancer patients [30] receiving non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications. Energy seeking self-directed inflammation may possibly provoke a perpetuating autoimmunity against normal tissues.…”

“…[16][17][18][19] Low-dose aspirin can inhibit cancer-induced angiogenesis in several models. 20 Additionally, taking high-dose aspirin led to a lower risk of prostate cancer-specific mortality, compared with low-dose users. 21 It is of much interest to use aspirin in cancer prevention and antimetastasis therapy due to its safe long-term treatment, which is a requirement for antimetastatic drugs.…”

“…Glucocorticosteroid therapy or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIL) usually were used to treat pain and inflammation. Literature findings show NSAIL as an anticancer drug, with good results in treatment of recurrent desmoid tumors [16,25,26]. In our patient we used similar combination of drugs postoperatively, in duration of one year, and had not observed any toxic effect.…”
