Abstract: Brazil is considered to be the biggest citrus producer and orange juice exporter. Post-harvest diseases represent a great loss in the citriculture, and for many fruits to be exported they should be free of chemical residues. “…Este fato poderia explicar a menor inibição do fungo com extrato de albedo nas concentrações testadas, uma vez que a concentração de compostos fenólicos pode ter sido muita baixa, não sendo suficiente para proporcionar efeito sobre os isolados do fungo Colletotrichum sp. Esses resultados contrariam os obtidos por (TOFFANO et al, 2012), que utilizou para cada grama de albedo moído, 1 mL de água, e observou o potencial desse extrato como agente de controle da mancha preta dos citros na pós-colheita, reduzindo o aparecimento de novas lesões nos frutos.…”
