While it is important to note that pseudo-coordination is not restricted to this set of verbs (for example, Hopper 2002:170, Kinn et al 2018), it is these verbs that are generally well-known sources of grammaticalization crosslinguistically (see, among others, Hilpert & Koops 2008:245, Paul 2022, Fleischhauer, this issue).
