Posttraumatic Syringomyelia: Late Occurrence of Distant Pain After Spinal Injury

Abstract: The rehabilitation of patients in pain requires accurate diagnosis. It is not well known that a posttraumatic cervical syrinx, commonly manifested by pain, may occur years after a relatively benign lumbar lesion. Such pain may be treatable.
