Posttranscriptional Gene Regulation by Spatial Rearrangement of the 3′ Untranslated Region

Abstract: Translation termination at premature termination codons (PTCs) triggers degradation of the aberrant mRNA, but the mechanism by which a termination event is defined as premature is still unclear.
