Abstract:Tonsillectomy (with or without adenoidectomy) is the most frequently performed surgical operation in children younger than 15 years old. 1 After tonsillectomy, children may experience insomnia, pain, nausea, vomiting, repeated hospitalizations, and sudden changes in their medical statuses.
