Postoperative ICU management of patients after subarachnoid hemorrhage

Abstract: Purpose of review This article reviews recent advances in the postoperative ICU management of patients after subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), especially with regards to hemodynamic management, methods of improving neurological outcomes, and management of cardiac and pulmonary complications.
