Abstract: Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a reversible neurological syndrome characterized by headache, seizures, altered mental status, and visual abnormalities, in association with the characteristic bilateral white matter abnormalities in the posterior cerebral hemispheres.
