Abstract: Knee flexion contractures anatomy and terminology Specific anatomical features of knee flexion contractures were the result of burns located on the lateral joint surface (medial or lateral), or posterior (popliteal area), or all three surfaces (both lateral and popliteal) together. Corresponding with scar location, three anatomic contracture types were formed.
