The postal sector is between the transformation caused on the one hand by the ongoing processes of globalization, liberalization and corporatization that increase competition, and, on the other, by the rapid development of new technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, social media ... The Fourth revolution combined with liberalization and globalization, it encourages new customer needs, increased and changing competition, as well as the development of new business models in the postal sector. Information technologies are not only the drivers of business processes of postal operators -they become the core of the development of the postal sector, which performs the synergy of the virtual and physical world.
