Carmody et al reviewed 3756 post tonsillectomy patients and found high incidence of bleeding in the age group of 10 to 19 yrs [35] Windfuhr et al conducted a retrospective study of 4848 to evaluate the age specifi c incidence of post tonsillectomy bleeding. They compared 2567 patients younger than 15 years with 2281 patients aged 15 years and above.…”
