Post-genomic approach based discovery of alkylresorcinols from a cricket-associated fungus, Penicillium soppi

Abstract: A highly reducing polyketide synthase (HR-PKS) collaborates with a type III PKS to produce alkylresorcinols via unusual biosynthetic machinery.
