Post fine‐needle aspiration near total infarction of Warthin tumor with squamous metaplasia: A diagnostic pitfall

Abstract: Warthin tumor (WT) is the second commonest tumor of the parotid gland, preferentially involving the lower pole. 1 It usually affects elderly males with increased risk in smokers. 2 Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) is widely used as initial diagnostic modality for palpable salivary gland lesions.
