Possible Contribution of Mineralocorticoid Receptor Activation on Glucocorticoid-Induced Left Ventricular Remodeling in Adrenalectomized Rat

Abstract: Background: Chronic glucocorticoid treatment induces the development of renal injury via mineralocorticoid receptor (MR) activation in bilaterally adrenalectomized rats.
